The horn antenna is a broadband passive device, shaped like a pyramid horn, referred to as a TEM antenna, which guides the beam of radio waves at a precise frequency. FT-RF Double Ridged Horn antennas have frequency capabilities ranging from 400MHz to 40GHz depending on type and style. These series are characterized by a huge frequency range and extremely high input powers. With increasing frequency, the gain rises to a maximum of 18 dBi. At higher frequencies, the increased gain compensates for the increasing cable losses.
The advantages of Horn antenna:
- Wide bandwidth: Because the horn antenna has no resonant parts, it can function over a wide range of frequencies.
- Easy waveguide interface: These antennas are very easy to interface to waveguide due to their shape, but they can also be designed with a transition so that a regular coaxial feeder can be used.

美元勢不可擋 日圓、韓元與歐元貶勢重
新台幣近期加速度貶值，猶如列車過站不停，14日貶破31元大關後貶勢「煞不住」， 16日匯價應聲貶破31.2元，終場重貶1.63角、收在31.293元，創2019年9月以來的逾三年新低。在美台利差持續擴大下，金融圈預料，新台幣匯率年底前有機會重返32字頭。
央行提供數據指出，今（2022）年以來至9月16日下午4時為止，美元走勢銳不可擋，美元指數累計大漲15.08％，非美貨幣每況愈下，其中又以日圓、韓元與歐元貶勢最重，分別對美元下跌19.76%、14.35%、12.03%。
其中，人民幣匯率貶破「7」字頭大關，韓元匯率逼近1,400，日圓也面臨145價位攻防戰，新台幣匯率跟進亞幣貶值風潮，今年以來貶值幅度超過10%、達11.51%，匯銀主管說，新台幣匯率一旦失守31.5元，下一個關卡就是32元整數大關。
出口競爭力變強 油電瓦斯恐喊漲
那麼，新台幣匯率急貶，對產業與小老百姓有何影響？
國銀主管說，匯率的升值或貶值沒有絕對的好或壞，新台幣這波急貶，會產生兩大好處，同樣的一筆美元款項，能換回的新台幣變多了，能讓台灣的產品降價，在國外容易銷售，進而提升出口產業的業績，提升台灣產品在國際上的報價競爭力，對經濟成長影響很大，同時也具有提升外幣資產價值的優點。
反之，新台幣貶值的缺點也有兩項，從國外進口的產品價格上漲，特別是能源，會導致國內的電費、瓦斯費、汽油跟著漲價，可能增加生活成本，加大生活壓力。此外，也會增加民眾的換匯成本，讓出國旅遊門檻升高。
中央銀行總裁楊金龍今年9月7日赴工商協進會，以「近20多年來台灣的經濟發展與央行扮演的角色」進行專題演講時提到，新台幣匯率原則上由外匯市場供需決定，長期呈升值趨勢；央行採雙向調節匯市。歷史經驗顯示，新台幣對美元匯率長期走升，自1998年中之低點約35元，升值至2021年底約27.7元，升幅約26%。
就新台幣對一籃通貨之名目有效匯率指數（NEER）而言，2021年12月相對於2010年已上升25.77%，遠高於韓元的10.42%及日圓的-16.76%。楊金龍的意思是，和其他國家比起來，新台幣匯率並不算弱。
楊金龍也認為，新台幣匯率維持動態穩定，也就是新台幣對美元匯率波動度小於主要貨幣，且具反通膨及反景氣循環功能，將有助經濟金融穩定。
